Feam was founded on February 1961 with the target to develop and produce an Italian designed line of Explosion Proof Electrical Equipment mainly directed to the quickly growing Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical market. The Company was immediately introduced in approved Vendor List of the major Italian companies such as SNAM, AGIP, MONTEDISON, FARMITALIA, and International companies like ESSO. This helped the newly born company to increase the yearly turn-over and grow up to a leading position in the Italian market, and to be successful in exporting mainly in Middle East, Europe, Far East and North Africa.
